[February 09, 2016]  ARLINGTON HEIGHTS - Norma L. Jouett, 78, of Arlington Heights, formerly of Lincoln, passed away at 11:06 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.

 

Visitation: Friday, February 5, 2016, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Peasley Funeral Home, Lincoln  and Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church   

Service: Saturday, February 6, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church in Lincoln

Obituary

Norma L. Jouett, 78, of Arlington Heights, formerly of Lincoln, passed away on February 2, 2016, at 11:06 p.m. at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church in Lincoln.  Father John Richmond will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln on Friday, February 5, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.; and on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 10:00  a.m. at the church, prior to the funeral service.

Norma Louise Lohmeyer was born March 7, 1937, in Bloomington, the daughter of Emory and Dorothy Lush Lohmeyer.  She married Harold Ray Jouett on August 11, 1956, in Farmer City.  He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Jouett is survived by one son: Harold Ray (Jan) Jouett II of Houston; one daughter: Claudette (David) Ellstrand of Arlington Heights; three grandchildren: Matthew, Sarah, and Lauren; and one brother: Robert L.(Ruthie) Lohmeyer of Casa Grande, Ariz. 

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one son: Carl Jouett.

Norma was a 1955 graduate of Farmer City High School and Valedictorian of her class.  She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.

Memorials may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church or Ronald McDonald Charities.

Final arrangements are entrusted with Peasley Funeral Home.
