NHL roundup: Rangers blank Penguins

[February 11, 2016]  PITTSBURGH -- Henrik Lundqvist made 34 saves for his third shutout of the season as the New York Rangers won their fourth game in a row, 3-0 against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Wednesday.

It was Lundqvist's 58th career shutout and his sixth all-time against the Penguins as he improved to 27-14-4.

Kevin Hayes, Dominic Moore and Jesper Fast provided the goals for the Rangers.

Lundqvist and New York stifled a Pittsburgh offense that had been prolific. The Penguins won each of their previous six home games, averaging 4.7 goals a game, and they won six of their previous seven overall.

Red Wings 3, Senators 1

DETROIT -- Petr Mrazek made 22 saves and Detroit defeated Ottawa at Joe Louis Arena.

Danny DeKeyser, Henrik Zetterberg and Darren Helm scored for the Red Wings.

Zack Smith scored for the Senators and Craig Anderson made 25 saves.

Canucks 2, Coyotes 1

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Ryan Miller improved to 9-1 lifetime against Arizona with a 34-save performance for Vancouver.

Jake Virtanen and Jannik Hansen scored for the Canucks.

Martin Hanzal scored for the Coyotes, who lost its fifth straight, while Louis Domingue made 24 saves.
