 McDavid scored two goals and added three assists, Eberle had three
goals and an assist and Pouliot chipped in four assists,
spearheading the Oilers to a 5-2 win over the Maple Leafs on
Thursday at Rexall Place.
It was the first five-point night of McDavid's career and first hat
trick for Eberle.

Islanders 5, Kings 2
NEW YORK -- The New York Islanders scored three goals in less than
eight minutes in the first period and maintained their season-long
mastery of Pacific Division foes at Barclays Center with a victory
over Los Angeles.
Casey Cizikas, Anders Lee, John Tavares, Travis Hamonic and Johnny
Boychuk scored for the Islanders, while Thomas Greiss made 28 saves.
Kyle Clifford and Milan Lucic scored for the Kings, while Jhonas
Enroth, starting in place of the injured Jonathan Quick, recorded 25
saves.
Flyers 5, Sabres 1
PHILADELPHIA -- A four-goal, second-period eruption carried
Philadelphia to a dominating win over Buffalo at Wells Fargo Center.
R.J. Umberger, Brayden Schenn, Wayne Simmonds, Michael Raffl and
Nick Cousins all scored for the Flyers while Shayne Gostisbehere
tied the franchise rookie point-streak at 10 games, which also is
the longest active streak in the NHL.
The Sabres' goal was scored by Jamie McGinn.
Blue Jackets 4, Ducks 3 (SO)
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Cam Atkinson and Alexander Wennberg scored
shootout goals, and Columbus came back to beat Anaheim at Nationwide
Arena.
Joonas Korpisalo had 24 saves while Brandon Saad, Brandon Dubinsky
and William Karlsson scored goals.
David Perron, Mike Santorelli and Ryan Garbutt scored for the Ducks,
while Ryan Getzlaf had two assists and Frederik Andersen finished
with 31 saves.
Avalanche 4, Senators 3
OTTAWA -- Colorado scored three power-play goals to snap a four-game
losing streak, beating Ottawa at Canadian Tire Centre.
Jerome Iginla paced the Avalanche with two goals, with Nathan
MacKinnon and Blake Comeau adding the others.
Mark Stone and Mike Hoffman each scored on the power play for the
Senators, who also had a late goal from Chris Neil. Dion Phaneuf had
two assists in his first game at Canadian Tire Centre as a Senator.
Erik Karlsson also had two assists.

Bruins 6, Jets 2
WINNIPEG, Manitoba -- Patrice Bergeron scored a pair of goals and
Brad Marchand added his team-leading 26th to spark Boston over
Winnipeg.
Loui Eriksson, David Pastrnak and Jimmy Hayesalso scored for the
Bruins, while Tuukka Rask made 34 saves.
Bryan Little and Nikolaj Ehlers scored for the Jets.
Capitals 4, Wild 3
SAINT PAUL, Minn. -- Alex Ovechkin scored a hat trick to lead
Washington over Minnesota.
Braden Holtby had 33 saves and Jason Chimera scored an empty net
goal in the final minute for the Capitals, who won their fifth
consecutive game.
The hard-luck Wild got goals from Charlie Coyle, Mikael Granlund and
Ryan Suter, but could not find a way out of the slump that has
plagued them for a month. Devan Dubnyk had 29 saves in the loss as
the Wild fell to 23-12-10.
Stars 4, Blackhawks 2
CHICAGO -- Patrick Eaves scored a hat trick in the first period,
leading Dallas over Chicago.
John Klingberg added a goal and an assist for the Stars.
Duncan Keith and Patrick Kane each scored in third period for the
Blackhawks, who lost back-to-back games at home for the first time
this season.
Flames 6, Sharks 5 (SO)
SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Jiri Hudler scored in the fourth round of a
shootout to give Calgary a wild win over San Jose.
Logan Couture was the only one of four Sharks' shooters to score in
the shootout, while Joe Colborne converted before Hudler as the
Flames won a third straight game.
In regulation, Couture had one goal and three assists. Calgary's Sam
Bennett finished with a goal and two assists.
