[February 15, 2016]   LINCOLN - God Is Bigger is a book for children and adults that speaks the truth about fear. The reader walks through various scenarios that often inspire fear but is constantly reminded that "You are bigger because God is bigger, so you don't have to be afraid."

With uplifting poetry by former Lincoln resident Sarah Chase Turner and gorgeous, vivid acrylic and watercolor paintings by Emily Barnett this book empowers readers, reminding them that God is bigger than anything they could face.

Turner wrote the poem after the sudden death of her husband. “I have definitely learned that God is bigger than anything you can face. It is
very easy to get overwhelmed by our problems, but I wanted to remind children that God is bigger than any of their problems or fears,” she said.

Poetry, or rhyme, has been proven to have amazing benefits for literacy development and is so appealing to children.

The book includes 18 original acrylic and watercolor images by Barnett, who hand painted each one for God Is Bigger.
