[February 20, 2016]  LINCOLN - The Iota Chi chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society is hosting a Trivia Night contest and fundraiser on Saturday, February 27 at 6:00 p.m. in the Meyer-Evans Student Center on the Lincoln College campus. Proceeds from the event will help support Special Olympics of Logan County’s Polar Plunge event.

The cost is $10 per person with a maximum of eight people per team. A $100 cash prize will be awarded to the winning team. In addition to the trivia contest, there will be a 50/50 drawing.

The Lincoln College Snack Bar will open at 5:30 p.m. and have food for purchase including burgers, fries, cheese sticks, beverages, and other tasty treats. The Iota Chi Chapter will provide free popcorn for all participants.

When asked about the importance of the fundraiser, Iota Chi chapter President Edward Bowlby, a sophomore from Lincoln, IL responded, “This is the fourth year our chapter will be participating in the Polar Plunge, and we are excited to include the funds raised during our Trivia Night to our Polar Plunge donation.”
