 Bautista didn't reveal his demands to reporters on Monday but made
it clear he is "not willing to negotiate."
The 35-year-old Bautista is entering the final season of his
contract. He signed a five-year-$65 million deal in 2011 and the
Blue Jays exercised a $14 million option to retain his services this
season.

Slugger David Ortiz welcomed new pitching ace David Price to the
Boston Red Sox family with a hug that should put an end to any hard
feelings between them.
Ortiz arrived in the clubhouse at spring training in Fort Myers,
Fla., on Monday morning and sought out Price.
"I got your back. Let's roll," Ortiz told Price after they embraced.
During the 2013 American League Division Series, Price was upset
that Ortiz took so much time circling the bases after a pair of home
runs. Then in 2014, Ortiz declared "war" between the two players in
a postgame interview after being hit by a pitch from Price.

General manager Rick Hahn and the Chicago White Sox are giving
former National League MVP Jimmy Rollins a chance to prove he has
something left at age 37.
Rollins, a three-time All-Star and four-time Gold Glove Award
winner, signed a minor-league deal with the White Sox after batting
.224 (116 of 517) with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2015.

Pittsburgh Pirates All-Star center field Andrew McCutchen has three
seasons left on his contract but expressed that he's open to another
deal.
McCutchen, a five-time All-Star, said that he is interested in
spending his entire career with Pittsburgh.

The Chicago Cubs signed left-handed reliever Manny Parra to a minor
league contract.
Parra, 33, has spent the past three seasons with the Cincinnati
Reds, posting a 1-2 record and 3.90 ERA over 32 1/3 innings in 40
games last year. He has a combined 3.91 ERA with 113 strikeouts in
