NHL roundup: Perry's 4-point game pushes Ducks over Kings

ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Corey Perry scored three goals and added an assist to lead the Anaheim Ducks to a 4-2 victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Sunday night in front of a sellout crowd of 17,174 at the Honda Center.

David Perron added his 11th goal and John Gibson stopped 27 shots as the Ducks earned their eighth consecutive victory and moved within two points of the first-place Kings in the Pacific Division.

Alec Martinez and Tanner Pearson scored for the Kings, who saw their four-game winning streak end despite 25 saves from Jonathan Quick.

Oilers 3, Islanders 1

EDMONTON, Alberta -- Anton Lander and Leon Draisaitl scored goals 55 seconds apart in the third period as Edmonton snapped a seven-game losing skid with a victory over the New York Islander.

Brandon Davidson also recorded a goal for the Oilers, who had won only one game in their previous 11 outings.

Casey Cizikas scored for the Islanders, who saw a three-game winning streak end.

Wild 3, Panthers 1

SAINT PAUL, Minn. -- Erik Haula scored the tiebreaker in the third period, helping Minnesota top Florida to snap a nine-game winless streak at Xcel Energy Center.

Charlie Coyle also scored for the Wild, who last won at home on Dec. 28. Devan Dubnyk had 17 saves and Jason Pominville added an empty net goal for Minnesota.

Aaron Ekblad had the lone goal for the Panthers, who made an unplanned goalie change in the first period. Al Montoya started in goal and had three saves before and injury chased him from the game. Roberto Luongo came on less than halfway through the opening period and had 21 saves.

Blues 5, Hurricanes 2

RALEIGH, N.C. -- St. Louis found offense from a variety of sources as they came back from a first-period deficit to defeat Carolina at PNC Arena.

Ty Rattie, David Backes, Kyle Brodziak, Robby Frabbri and Alex Pietrangelo scored for the Blues, who snapped a three-game losing streak.

Jeff Skinner and Ron Hainsey scored for the Hurricanes.

Blackhawks 3, Capitals 2

CHICAGO -- Corey Crawford matched a career high with his 33rd victory as Chicago held on for a win over Washington.

Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews and Dennis Rasmussen scored for the Blackhawks, who snapped a two-game losing streak.

Marcus Johansson and Evgeny Kuznetsov scored for the Capitals.

Lightning 4, Bruins 1

BOSTON -- Tampa Bay cruised to their sixth consecutive victory, handling Boston.

The Lightning's top line accounted for all four goals, with Ryan Callahan scoring twice and setting up Steven Stamkos and Alex Killorn. Anton Stralman had two assists.

Kevan Miller scored for the Bruins, who fell to 13-16-3 at home.

Sharks 4, Canucks 1

VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- San Jose scored four third-period goals to overcome a deficit and defeat Vancouver.

Joe Pavelski had a goal and added an assist for the Sharks, while Tomas Hertl, Patrick Marleau and Justin Braun also scored.

Daniel Sedin scored for the Canucks, who saw a two-game win streak snapped.
