Congressman LaHood completes staff with Springfield District Office hire
Former Staffer for the Illinois Chamber of Commerce to head Springfield District Office

[January 05, 2016]  SPRINGFIELD, IL—Rep. Darin LaHood announced today that Nathan Hoffman, formerly of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce, will serve as Field Representative to staff and represent the Springfield District Office. Hoffman begins today, January 4.

“Nathan represents the final piece in completing my staffing across the 18th District and I am proud to welcome him to our team,” stated LaHood. “My focus since day one has been to reestablish trust within the district by providing the highest standard of constituent service across the district and he adds to that initiative. Nathan was born and raised in Springfield and is an energetic leader within his community and my district and I believe he will provide the proper representation around Sangamon County, which is an important constituent base in the 18th District.”

“Nathan is a talented, hard worker who can juggle numerous projects with ease. He’s been very valuable to us,” added Todd Maisch, President and CEO of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce. “While we are sad to see Nathan go, we know that Congressman LaHood is getting an outstanding employee with a bright future. Hoffman is transitioning from the Illinois Chamber of Commerce after serving as their Executive Director for the Illinois Chamber PAC since June of 2015. His community involvement includes serving as the President of the UIS College Republicans, a board member of the Springfield Public Schools Foundation, and community vice-president for the Springfield Jaycees.
