[January 07, 2016]  LINCOLN - Bobby J. Horton, 74, of Lincoln passed away at 2:50 a.m. December 31, 2015 at St. John’s Hospital, Springfield.
 

Visitation:  Monday, January 4, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln

Service: Tuesday, January 5 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

Obituary

Bobby J. Horton, 74, of Lincoln passed away at 2:50 a.m. December 31, 2015 at St. John’s Hospital, Springfield.

Bobby was born December 14, 1941 at Birmingham, AL the son of John Jasper and Hazel Hughes Horton. He married Rita Ann Barr August 1, 1964 at Elmhurst. She survives in Lincoln.

Also surviving him are his two sons: Caleb Horton; Jacob (Ashley) Horton; one daughter: Patience (Craig Davis) Horton; two grandchildren: Talon and Abigail Horton, all of Lincoln; one brother: Richard “Dick” (Linda) Horton of Ft. Meyers, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bobby was a hairdresser and owner at Shear Master in Lincoln; and retired as an LPN in the cardiac department from St. John’s Hospital after 20 years. He was a member of the Mason City Christian Church and the Oasis Senior Citizen Center, Lincoln.

Services for Bobby will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln with Joe Briseno officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow services in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lincoln. Memorials may be given in Bobby’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
