[January 12, 2016]  MOUNT PULASKI - Todd Kelly and Drew Martin recently spent their Christmas break from school playing baseball in Florida.

The two young men attended an Under Armour Baseball Factory Showcase in September in Indianapolis and were selected to play in the Baseball Factory Winter Classic sponsored by Under Armour in Vero Beach, Florida.

Kelly and Martin, played on separate teams in Florida, yet both played at Historic Dodgertown the week after Christmas, from Sunday through Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.

During the day, Kelly and Martin each played two games and when not playing games they attended different skills stations.  In the evening they attended life skills lessons with guest speakers who
were current minor league coaches or players.

According to Brandy Kelly, mother of Todd, "The boys really enjoyed it and they enjoyed making new friends from across the country." Kelly is the son of Rob and Brandy Kelly and he is in eighth grade at Mount Pulaski Grade School. Martin is the son of Doug and Erin Martin and he is in seventh grade at Mount Pulaski Grade School.

Congratulations to both young men on this amazing athletic accomplishment!
