[January 13, 2016]  LINCOLN - Sugar Grove Nature Center will hold two fun and educational events for children and families this January.

Little Wonders: Snow, Ice, & Water!
Ages 3-5 with an adult chaperone.
Wednesday, January 20;
10:00-11:30 a.m. or 1:00-2:30 p.m.

Water is everywhere, especially in winter when it takes the forms of snow and ice! How does this happen? We’ll investigate and find out in this hands-on class that includes a story, snack, and craft!

Fee: To register call 309.874.2174 or email register@sugargrovenaturecenter.org.  Registration and payment required by January 17. Discounts offered for members

Campfire & S’mores Program:
Winter Birds
Saturday, January 23, 2:30 p.m.

This family program will be all about the birds that can be found in our area in winter. Some stay year-round, others migrate here! Make a simple bird feeder to keep their bellies full, then make s’mores to fill your own belly!
