[January 14, 2016]  LINCOLN - West Lincoln-Broadwell played host to St. Agnes on Wednesday night and found a way to send the visitors home with two losses.

In the 7th grade game, the Wolverines (11-7) outlasted the Aces 24-20, getting 14 points and 7 steals from Patrick McCraith to lead all scorers.

The 7th grade team moves on to play the Chester-East Lincoln Panthers on Thursday night, in the third place game of the 7th grade county conference tournament. That game tips at 6:00 at Jack D. Nutt Arena on the campus of Lincoln College.

Between the contests tonight, Tami Schilling honored her three eighth grade cheerleaders as they walked out onto the floor, escorted by their parents. Both coaches want to wish good luck in high school to Madelyn Koehler, Brooke Montcalm, and Adrian Tiffany and thank them for their support of the boys basketball teams.

In the nightcap, the 8th grade Wolverines (15-1) played a tough, physical game and came out on top 40-29.

Once again, balanced scoring led WLB as three Wolverines reached double figures (Kameron Whiteman 11, Kaden Froebe 10, and Justin Long 10).
