NBA roundup: Butler nets 53 as Bulls win in OT

 PHILADELPHIA -- Guard Jimmy Butler scored a career-high 53 points as the Chicago Bulls rallied from a 24-point deficit and posted a 115-111 overtime victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday.

Butler joined Michael Jordan, Chet Walker and Jamal Crawford as the fourth Bull to have 50 points. Butler was 15-of-30 from the floor and 21-for-25 from the foul line.

He also added 10 rebounds and six assists for the Bulls, who rested center Pau Gasol and were without guard Derrick Rose (tendinitis, left knee).

Robert Covington led Philadelphia (4-37) with 25 points and Ish Smith added 24 but missed a potential game-tying layup with 25 seconds remaining in overtime.

Spurs 99, Cavaliers 95

SAN ANTONIO -- Tony Parker scored 24 points and Kawhi Leonard added 20 as the Spurs defeated the Cavaliers for their 10th straight victory and remained unbeaten at home.

Parker scored 18 of his points before halftime while Leonard scored 16 points after the break. Leonard also held LeBron James to seven points after halftime as San Antonio improved to 23-0 at home and won its 32nd straight regular-season home game.

James scored 23 points but Cleveland had an eight-game winning streak stopped. Tristan Thompson added 18 and 13 rebounds for the Cavaliers, who held a 12-point lead in the first half.

Grizzlies 103, Pistons 101

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Mario Chalmers hit the game-winning shot with eight-tenths of a second remaining and the Grizzlies rallied late to beat the Pistons.

Chalmers led all scorers with 25 points and scored the last seven for Memphis, which trailed 101-96 with 3:07 remaining. Marc Gasol added 19 points while Matt Barnes went 6-of-6 from 3-point range and contributed 18.

Rookie Stanley Johnson scored 11 of his 19 points for Detroit. Ersan Ilyasova added 17 for the Pistons.

Raptors 106, Magic 103 (OT)

Kyle Lowry scored 24 points and the Raptors defeated the Magic at the O2 Arena in London.

Reserve Cory Joseph added 19 points on 9-of-11 shooting and DeMar DeRozan added 13 points in Toronto's fourth straight victory.

Victor Oladipo scored 27 points and Evan Fournier added 21 for Orlando, which lost for the sixth time in seven games.

Kings 103, Jazz 101

SALT LAKE CITY -- Rudy Gay scored 24 points and hit the game-winning jumper with less than a second remaining as the Kings held off the Jazz.

DeMarcus Cousins led Sacramento with 36 points and 17 rebounds. Gay saved the Kings from blowing a 10-point lead in the final five minutes by hitting a jumper from the right elbow.

Gordon Hayward finished with 21 points and eight rebounds.Rookie Trey Lyles scored a career-high 19 points for the Jazz (17-22), who are one game ahead of the Kings (16-23) for th Western Conference's final playoff spot.

Warriors 116, Lakers 98

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Kobe Bryant scored eight points in what is expected to be his final NBA game in Oakland, but it wasn't enough to prevent Golden State from outlasting Lakers for its 37th consecutive home victory.

Stephen Curry bombed in 24 of his game-high 26 points on 3-pointers, helping the Warriors record a seventh straight home win over the Lakers.

Bryant's eight points were far under the 27.1 average he accumulated in his first 32 visits to the San Francisco Bay Area. Jordan Clarkson had 22 points for the Lakers.
