[January 20, 2016]  The West Lincoln-Broadwell Wolverines hosted the Mount Pulaski Bruins on Tuesday, ending their regular season with two losses.

The 7th grade Wolverines (11-9) had no answer for the Bruins and fell 42-25.

Patrick McCraith scored 10 points and grabbed a team-high 9 rebounds in the loss. Lucas Konczyk (5), Daulton Miller (4), Kaden Aragon (4), and Scotty Battin also scored.

Between games, the nine eighth grade team members were introduced along with their parents at center court and received gifts from players and coaches and applause from those in attendance. Both Coach Biggs and Coach Horn want to thank; Payton Anderson, Jackson Bell, Joe Dalpoas, Kaden Froebe, Zach Fuller, Justin Long, Dreyden Poszgai, Kameron Whiteman, and Trevor Viner, for all the hard work and dedication to the Wolverine basketball program.

In the finale, the Bruins found a way to make their only free throw of the game, at the right time to hold off the charging Wolverines(16-2) by a final of 41-40. Kaden Froebe (15), Justin Long (13), Kameron Whiteman (9), and Joe Dalpoas (3) provided the scoring for the Wolverines.
