Service: Monday, January 25, at 11:00 a.m., at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Lincoln

Wiliam "Scott" Heuck, 52, of Middletown, formerly of Dallas, TX., passed away January 22, 2016, at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield.

Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorial services will be Monday, January 25, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Pastor Steve Blaum officiating. Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home has been entrusted with his care.

Scott was born March 21, 1963, in Memphis, TN., the son of Harold and Elizabeth (Purcell) Griffin. He was a renowned florist and artist. Scott was an active member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed music and brought a ray of sunshine to all who knew and loved him.

 

Surviving are his parents Harold and Elizabeth Griffin of Eudora, MS.; brothers: Ricky Heuck (Paula) of Brownsville, KY., Michael Heuck (Katheleen) of Horn Lake, MS., and Timmy Heuck (Melissa) of Troy, TN.; half brother Keven Heuck (Tanya) of MO.; half-sister Kimberly Heuck Blair (David) of Kansas City, MO.; aunts Ann Heuck and Catherine Heuck both of Little Rock, AR; best friend Steve Blaum of Middletown, IL., and his canine companions Charlie and Jill.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Lincoln.
