[January 27, 2016]  LINCOLN - Randall Lewis Menzel, 60, of Lincoln, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at his home.

Visitation: Thursday, January 28, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Peasley Funeral Home, Lincoln

Service: 11 a.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.

Obituary

Randall Lewis Menzel, 60, of Lincoln, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Visitation will be held from to 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home on Thursday, prior to the service.

Burial will be in the Harmony Cemetery in rural Beason.

Randall Lewis Menzel was born September 13, 1955, in Lincoln, the son of William Henry and Rose Mary Teichman Menzel.

Surviving Randall are his parents of Lincoln, one brother: Steven William (Debra) Menzel of Lincoln; one sister: Debra A. (Jay) Harrison of Bloomington; two nephews: Matt Menzel and Brian Menzel; and two nieces: Natalie Perrone and Caroline Fleming.

Long time companion and friend Sandy Wilmert.

Funeral Director

Randy graduated from the Beason Community High School in 1973. He had been employed over the years in construction, for Ron Hall Painting, and by Eaton Corp. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. Randy was a devoted fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.

Memorials may be made to Humane Society of Logan County, Friendship Manor or an organization of the donor’s choice.

Final arrangements are entrusted with Peasley Funeral Home.
