LYNX swimmer Aunyx Ashby recognized by CollegeSwimming.com

[January 29, 2016]    CollegeSwimming.com has recently named its National Swimmers of the Week in five divisions; DI, DII, DIII, NJCAA, and NAIA. Lincoln College Lynx sophomore women's swimmer Aunyx Ashby (Aurora, CO) was among the winners for Week 16.

Ashby's week included a first place, second place, and eighth place finish, all occurring at the Prather Invite at Principia College.

Weekly results are submitted to CollegeSwimming.com each Monday morning by 8 a.m. EST with the number of individual and relay wins in a given weekend along with strength of each swim (using CollegeSwimming.com's Point Values) weighing as factors for handing out the weekly honor.

Ashby has already set both Lincoln College Scully Pool and school records in the 50 Free this season. She and her fellow swimmers will take to the pool this weekend at UIC for a dual meet beginning at 11:00 a.m.
