Gillespie is a former U.S. Olympic Education Center
Coach & USA Wrestling National Team Staff Coach. During his time
there, Gillespie has successfully coached teams at 34 National
Championships, 12 International tournaments & camps, four World
Championships, and one Pan American Championship.
Gillespie has also coached individuals to 29 National
Championship Gold medals, 14 World or Pan American medals, five
USA Wrestling Outstanding Wrestler Awards, and one Olympic
Bronze medal.
