Second Quarter Homes Sales

[July 13, 2016]  The second quarter of 2016 saw improved home sales numbers compared to 2015 for the same time period.

REALTORS in Logan County Board of REALTORS® sold 116 homes in the second quarter of 2016, 22 more than the 94 sold during the same time period in 2015.

The average selling price for homes in the 2016 time period was $98,782, up from $91,116 in 2015. Median prices were also up significantly, $95,360 compared to $82,000.

The length of time that the average home was on the market found houses on the market for a shorter period of time with the average "Days on Market" in 2016 179 days. This was 26 days shorter than the same time period in 2015.
