[July 18, 2016]  LINCOLN - Lucille A. Lee, 90, of Lincoln, went to be with her Lord on July 16, 2016 at Vonderlieth Living Center in Mount Pulaski.

Visitation:  5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday July 19, 2016 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.

Service: 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday July 20, 2016 at Zion Lutheran Church, Lincoln

Obituary

Lucille A. Lee, 90, of Lincoln, went to be with her Lord on July 16, 2016 at Vonderlieth Living Center in Mount Pulaski.

Lucille was born in Rural Greenview, on August 5, 1925, the daughter of Herman Henry and Elizabeth Schaub Brinkmeyer. She married Everett Petro on June 19, 1946. He preceded her in death on September 28, 1979. She married Robert E. Lee on October 2, 1980. He preceded her in death on October 27, 2001.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and Elmer; and six sisters, Anna Brinkmeyer, Kathryn Prince, Louise Whiteman, Florence Dixon, Lorene Tackman, and Dorothy Wark.

She leaves to cherish her memories: four daughters, Nancy Lahr (Jim, deceased) of Lincoln, Michelle Welt (Byron) of Springfield, Rose Moore (Val) of Emden, Debra McKay (Glenn) of Lincoln, and one son, Gary Petro of Lincoln; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. There are four stepsons and four stepdaughters.

 

She cherished her cat, Katie, who survives.

She enjoyed trips to Branson, Missouri and listening to country-western music. She was a fan of the Chicago Cubs.

The family would like to thank Castle Manor and Vonderlieth Living Center for their care of Lucille.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln.

Services for Lucille will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday July 20, 2016 at Zion Lutheran Church, Lincoln. A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday July 19, 2016 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln. Burial will follow the services at Zion Cemetery in Lincoln. Memorial donations may be made in Lucille’s name to Zion Lutheran Church.
