Lincoln man dies in early morning crash

[July 26, 2016]  LINCOLN - The Logan County Coroner, Robert Thomas, has announced that
Nathan S. Gunterman, age 22, of  Lincoln, was pronounced dead at 2:47 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2016.

Gunterman was involved in a semi vs car collision. He was the driver of the car and the only occupant of the car. The collision happened close to the 133 mile-marker of Interstate 55.

The collision and death are under investigation by the Logan County Sheriff’s Department, Illinois State Police, and the Logan County Coroner’s Office.

An autopsy has been scheduled. Funeral arrangements are pending.
