[July 27, 2016]  'Adventures Await’ in Logan County 4-H Hay Bale Decorating Contest

Join the 4-H clubs, leaders, volunteers, alumni and 4-Her’s in the Adventures Awaits Hay Bale Decorating Contest! Logan County 4-H Community Clubs, 4-H Ambassadors and the 4-H Alumni Group will be participating in the second annual Hay Bale Decorating Contest on August 2, 2016 starting at 5pm at the Logan County Fairgrounds.

This year’s theme is “Adventures Awaits.” 4-H groups will be given the opportunity to create their own sculpture using hay bales provided by “Diamond G Farm” Wes & Martha Green and Matt Short, which will be located throughout the fairgrounds to promote 4-H and celebrate the “Adventures Awaits” theme.

Fairgoers are encouraged to travel around the fair grounds to vote on their favorite sculpture using a QRC code throughout the week of the fair. The large hay bale sculptures will be located just inside the west and east gates, near the livestock show pavilion, near the antique tractor tent and by the north grandstand entrance. Adventures Await you when you join Logan County 4-H!
