Lynx Basketball signs Springfield High’s Isaac Nelson

[June 01, 2016]    Lincoln College head basketball coach Pat Lepper has signed Springfield High School’s Isaac Nelson to a National Letter of Intent. The 5’9” combo guard will join the Lynx squad for the 2016-17 season.

The former Springfield High Senator averaged 19.5ppg his senior season and was named to the 2014-15 Honorable Mention All-State team. Nelson, who has the ability to shoot the three as well as get to the rim and finish, was also named to the Speaks Basketball All-Star game and played for Select Few Sports.

Lincoln College head men’s basketball coach Pat Lepper said of Nelson, “Isaac is an extremely explosive scorer. We will look for point production right away from Isaac.”
