[March 08, 2016]  SUNRISE, Fla. -- Lee Stempniak scored with one minute left in overtime as the Boston Bruins earned a wild 5-4 win over the Florida Panthers on Monday night at the BB&T Center.

The Bruins, who also got two goals from Patrice Bergeron, blew a 4-1 lead before getting the game-winner on Stempniak's 17th score of the season.

The victory was the 388th for Claude Julien behind the Boston bench, making him the winningest coach in the Bruins' 92-year history. Julien, who now owns a 388-216-85 record, passed Art Ross for the top spot.

Tuukka Rask made 47 saves to help the Bruins improve to 5-1-1 in their past seven games. Florida's Roberto Luongo (11 saves) allowed four first-period goals and was then lifted in favor of Al Montoya, who was perfect for 44 minutes until he was beaten by Stempniak. Montoya made 15 saves.

Flyers 4, Lightning 2

PHILADELPHIA -- Shayne Gostisbehere made more franchise history Monday, and Philadelphia snapped Tampa Bay's nine-game winning streak.

Gostisbehere scored two markers to give him 14, breaking Behn Wilson's record for most goals in a season by a Philadelphia rookie defenseman set in 1978-79, when Wilson recorded 13. He helped the Flyers finish their pivotal six-game homestand 5-1-0.

Tampa Bay backup goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy made 37 saves, while Flyers goaltender Steve Mason needed to make just 16 saves for the win.

Sabres 4, Maple Leafs 3 (SO)

TORONTO -- Sam Reinhart scored the shootout winner as Buffalo edged Toronto.

Mark Pysyk, Jack Eichel and Evander Kane had the Sabres' goals in regulation, while Chad Johnson made 30 saves to improve to 3-0-1 all-time against the Leafs. Buffalo entered the contest 1-6-3 in its past 10 visits to Toronto.

Leo Komarov, Brad Boyes and Zach Hyman responded with goals for the Maple Leafs. Garret Sparks stopped 23 shots in the loss.

Sharks 2, Flames 1 (OT)

CALGARY, Alberta -- Joe Pavelski scored 19 seconds into overtime to give San Jose a victory over Calgary.

Brent Burns set up the winning goal and also scored his 24th of the season early in the first period. Joe Colborne scored a power-play goal for the Flames with 1:22 remaining in the third period to force overtime.

San Jose goalie Martin Jones made 47 saves to record his 33rd win over the season, while Calgary netminder Joni Ortio stopped 21 of the 23 shots he faced.

Mikhail Grigorenko also had a goal and an assist and Shawn Matthias scored for Colorado. The Avalanche pulled even with Minnesota for the second wild card in the Western Conference.

Boyd Gordon scored and Louis Domingue stopped 34 shots for the Coyotes, who lost eight for the eighth time in nine games and the ninth time in a row on the road overall.

Capitals 2, Ducks 1 (SO)

ANAHEIM, Calif. -- T.J. Oshie and Nicklas Backstrom scored in a shootout to give Washington a victory over Anaheim in front of a sellout crowd of 17,174 at the Honda Center.

Washington goalie Braden Holtby grabbed two shots during the shutout and finished with 27 saves. Andre Burakovsky scored in regulation for the Capitals, who earned their third victory in four games.

Corey Perry scored Anaheim's only goal during the shootout, Ryan Getzlaf scored in regulation and John Gibson stopped 31 shots. But the Ducks saw their 12-game winning streak, a team record, end.

Kings 5, Canucks 1

LOS ANGELES -- Two third-period goals by Jeff Carter and another one by Vinny Lecavalier allowed Los Angeles to break open a close contest and cruise to a victory over Vancouver at Staples Center.

Carter scored at 11:39 of the third for a 3-1 advantage before Lecavalier added his sixth this season on a breakaway 39 seconds later. Carter scored again -- his 17th goal of the season -- with 3:57 left in the contest on an empty-netter for the 300th of his career.

The third-quarter barrage boosted the Kings back in the win column after Saturday's disappointing 3-2 setback to the rival Anaheim Ducks. They closed within a point of the Pacific Division-leading Ducks, who had their 11-game winning streak snapped by the Washington Capitals.
