[March 12, 2016]   ELKHART - The Elkhart Historical Society offered many wonderful dinner lectures this year including a sold out presentation from Illinois Stories’ Mark McDonald that prompted the society to schedule a second date for the Public Television personality.

The season was scheduled to end on March 18th with what is sure to be an outstanding lecture from local historian Paul Beaver with the topic of “William Scully’s Prairie and the People Who Farmed It.”

Anticipating a great event, guests booked early for the Beaver lecture and still it sold out before everyone had a chance to get in. Because of this, the Historical society is pleased to announce that Beaver will return and repeat his lecture on Friday April 1st at 5:30 p.m.
