7th Grade Girls Volleyball: Hartsburg-Emden Stags Volleyball Team to play for Class 1A State Champion Tuesday

[March 14, 2016]    Coach Hayes and her Hartsburg-Emden Stags Volleyball Team have earned their way to another shot at a state championship. This year her undefeated 7th grade volleyball team will play for the state championship tomorrow night (Tuesday) at 6:45 p.m. in Pawnee.

The Stags knocked off undefeated Grayville (21-1) Saturday night 25-23, 23-25 and 25-16 to advance to the state championship match.

Earlier on Saturday the Stags easily took care of London Mills Valley (10-7) 25-8 and 25-16 to guarantee the right to bring home hardware from the IESA State Tournament.

Hartsburg-Emden (25-0) will face Champaign Next Generation (14-4) in the championship. Good luck to the Stags!
