8th Grade Girls Volleyball: Hartsburg-Emden Stags Volleyball Team to play for Class 1A State Champion Tuesday

[March 21, 2016]    The Lady Stags are at it again. This time the 8th grade volleyball team will play for the state title Tuesday night at 6:45 p.m. in New Berlin.

The Stags defeated Pontiac St. Mary’s Saturday morning 25-13, 11-25 and 25-13. Hartsburg-Emden then won the afternoon semifinal in two sets, 25-23 and 25-10 over Augustana Southeastern.

In the state championship match tomorrow night Hartsburg-Emden (20-7) will face Peoria Limestone Walters (25-3). Good luck again to these young ladies and Coach Hayes and company as they look to bring another state championship trophy home!
