Logan County Polar Plunge support for Special Olympics results and awards

[March 23, 2016]  LINCOLN - Saturday's 160 Polar Plunger's into the 45 degree Lincoln Lakes waters earned a grand total of $33,317.10 to host Special Olympics events.

Individuals brought in $10,0000.
Teams of 4 or less brought in $2,695
Teams of 5-15 members: $5,741.50
Teams of 15 and over: $14,880.16

In special awards:

Cool School Challenge:
Hartem FFA Plungers was the winner at $1055.
Chester-East Lincoln brought in $405

In the teams with less than five participants the top three winners:

1. Team Carroll - $1,255
2. Monsanto = $520
3. Logan County Deputy Sheriff's Department - $400

Most money raised by a team with five to 15:

1. Lincoln Gone Crazy - $3,341.50
