[May 07, 2016]   May 6 (The Sports Xchange) - The Miami Dolphins signed first-round pick Laremy Tunsil to a four-year contract on Friday, including a fifth-year option for the team.

The Dolphins selected the offensive tackle out of Ole Miss with the No. 13 overall pick.

Tunsil fell to the Dolphins and became the story of draft night last week after a video of him smoking out of a bong and wearing a gas mask leaked on social media minutes before the start of the first round.

Tunsil is slotted to earn $12.5 million with a $7.3 million signing bonus. As with all first-round picks, the Dolphins will have an option to pick up a fifth year for Tunsil.

The New York Giants signed first-round cornerback Eli Apple to a four-year contract, along with three other draft picks.

Apple is slotted to earn $15.2 million with a $9.2 million signing bonus. Apple was joined by wide receiver Sterling Shepard (second round), running back Paul Perkins (fifth) and tight end Jerell Adams (sixth).
