[May 10, 2016]   LINCOLN - It's once again time to get your carboys ready and bring out your best homebrew! On Saturday, June 4, the Logan County Young Professionals Network will be hosting its Second Annual Homebrew Competition as part of the Pigs and Swigs Festival in Downtown Lincoln.

For a second year, the competition will be pitting contenders' best homemade brews against one another for the title of "Best in Show." New and exciting this year; there will be category winners as well. A panel of judges will score all entries to determine the best creations according to style category. From there, each category winner will compete for the honor of Best in Show.

For the competition, online registrations only will be accepted. Register at www.lincolnillinois.com/tourism/lincolns-pigs-and-swigs-festival.  There is a $5 fee for each entry and a four entry maximum per registrant. Registration closes June 1st. All entries must be received for judging by 11 a.m. on June 4th, and awards will take place at 4 p.m.
