[May 12, 2016]   LINCOLN - The Olympia Kiwanis annually offers a $500 scholarship to an Olympia Senior who is also a member of the Key Club. The Olympia Key Club is the high school division of the Kiwanis and is an active community service group under the leadership of Connie Schroeder.

This year, the Olympia Kiwanis will be participating in the Minier Community-wide Garage sale day on May 14th from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at #1 Millard Court in Minier.

The Kiwanis will offer coffee and donuts for the early birds, soda and water throughout the rest of the day, and will serve an Avanti Gondola lunch at noontime. Proceeds from the food sales as well as the proceeds from a collection of treasures donated by local Kiwanis will go toward the clubs scholarship fund.

The Olympia Kiwanis Club meets the first Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at the Main Street Grill restaurant in Minier. New members are always welcome.
