Obituary
Berniece A. Turner, 96, of Lincoln, passed away at
6:12 p.m. May 12, 2016 at Christian Village,
Lincoln.
Berniece was born November 20, 1919 in Burtonview,
the daughter of Dietrick and Nettie Diersing
Schmidt. She married Raymond E. Turner November 22,
1941 in St. Charles, MO. He preceded her in death
January 27, 2012.
She is also survived by two sons: Delmar (Donna)
Turner of Lincoln; Darrell (Pam) Turner of Atlanta;
four grandchildren Rhonda (Joe) Hyde, Darren Turner,
Tara (Chad) Ragsdale, Tracy (Zachary) McLean; and
three great-grandchildren: Logan, Adeline, Ryane
Ragsdale. She was preceded in death by her parents,
husband, one brother and one sister.

Berniece was a homemaker and member of Immanuel
Lutheran Church of Lincoln.
Services for Berniece will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday,
May 17, 2016 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Lincoln
with Rev. Candida Turner and Chad Ragsdale
officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m.
at the church prior to the service. Burial will
follow the service at New Union Cemetery, Lincoln.
Memorials may be given in Berniece’s name to
Immanuel Lutheran Church. Arrangements were
entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home,
Lincoln.
