[May 21, 2016]   LINCOLN - On Monday students at Northwest and Adams elementary schools in Lincoln will each hold Relay Recess events in support of the local Relay for Life and the fight against Cancer.

As a portion of their event, each of the schools will release butterflies that the students have been nurturing.

Northwest will hold its event from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and the event at Adams will be from12:30 p.m. to 2:40 p.m.

Cancer Survivors have been extended an invitation from the staff and students of these schools to come witness and/or be a part of the programs. It would be beneficial to the students if survivors would wear their Survivor Shirt and lanyard.

The Logan County Relay for Life event will be held on June 18th from noon to midnight at the Lincoln Center on the Campus of Lincoln College.
