In place of the traditional Sunday Brunch held early in the year
in the past, this year there will be “Brunch 2.” A picnic-style
lunch offered on Relay Day. Servicing will begin at 11 a.m. and run
to 3 p.m. in the Relay Track area at Lincoln Center.
The buffet menu will include: Grilled hamburger on bun, Chicken
Strips, Johnsonville Brats on Hoagie, Macaroni & Cheese, Western
Baked Beans, Potato Salad, Macaroni Salad, Cole Slaw, Jello, Chips &
Dip, Fresh Fruit/Diced Fruit; and a variety of desserts and drinks.
Tickets can be obtained from team members listed below, at the event
or by calling Cyra Buttrell, this year’s event leader at
217-737-6423. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children.
 The second new feature will be a Bounce House during the relay
hours. Come picnic, have fun during the theme laps and support the
Relay for Life “Rockin’ for a Cure.”
Team Captains meeting Monday
Team captains are to gather at Lincoln Christian Church Monday, May
30 at 6:00 p.m. to pick up their teams Relay shirts, give final
request for Relay Tent site and get tickets for the Brunch 2.
