LINCOLN
- Author and Logan County native Gary Metz will be at the Logan
County Airport on Saturday, May 28th for a book signing event. From
11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Metz will sign copies of his new book, “Last of
the Randolph Blues.”

The book is a collection of personal stories of ten World War II
pilots, among them, Virgil Radcliffe, who once lived in the Lincoln
area, and related to Metz as well as other Logan County families.
Metz is looking forward to visiting with friends and family on
Saturday and is hopeful that many will stop by. While at the
airport, it is also a great time to visit the Heritage in Flight
Museum and stroll about the collection of planes and other military
transportation on display outside at the airport.
Metz will be donating 10 percent or $2.50 of each book sold to the
museum.
