Pekin Street crossing to close permanently June 1st

[May 28, 2016]  LINCOLN - The Pekin St. railroad crossing will close permanently Wednesday June 1, 2016, to vehicle and pedestrian traffic as construction crews continue with High Speed Rail upgrades.

The Clinton Sreet crossing will remain closed for approximately three to four weeks.

The Broadway St. crossing opened on Friday afternoon May 27, 2016. Sidewalk and drainage work is ongoing at Broadway Street and as well as Pulaski Street but vehicle crossings will remain open.

As always, people traveling in these areas should use extreme caution.
