[November 01, 2016]   LINCOLN - Home Care of Central Illinois has this year again received the “Patient Satisfaction Award of Distinction” from Fazzi and Associates. Fazzi is a national health care provider performance quality survey organization. This is the third time the Logan County Department of Public Health (LCDPH) home health agency has received the award in the past four years.

Don Cavi, Public Health Administrator at LCDPH stated “the Home Care of Central Illinois staff at LCDPH deserves all the credit for their hard work and daily efforts to provide an outstanding service. Melodye Crabtree and her staff have a genuine compassion for caring for the needs of their clients which is a major reason the program is well accepted by the community. Their commitment to excellence is an asset to the program, the agency and the citizens of Logan and surrounding counties.”

Based on overall patient satisfaction, the LCDPH, Home Care of Central Illinois has been named a national “best practice” agency. Agencies named as national best practice agencies are proven leaders and have excelled in one of the most important measures of an agency quality program – patient satisfaction, according to Fazzi.

Results from a comparative analysis of agencies from the Fazzi’s National Patient Satisfaction database placed Home Care of Central Illinois in the top 25% for patient overall satisfaction and the likelihood of recommending their services.
