Memorial Medical Center to hold Service of Remembrance

[November 03, 2016]   SPRINGFIELD – Memorial Medical Center will host an Interfaith Service of Remembrance on Sunday, Nov. 6, at the Memorial Center for Learning and Innovation, 228 W. Miller St.

The service is for families and friends of patients who have died at Memorial Medical Center between March 1 and Aug. 31. The ceremony is also open to parents who have lost a child during pregnancy.

Participants can arrive at 1 p.m. for a welcome period and refreshments. The service will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.

The Service of Remembrance also provides an opportunity for staff and physicians to remember the patients for whom they cared and to celebrate their lives with family and friends.

The service will be held in the M.G. Nelson Family Auditorium on the first floor.
