Crusaders defeat Greenview

[November 03, 2016]    On Thursday, the Crusaders of CCS/NHM/ZLS hosted the final night of its opening round robin tournament. In the evening games, the Crusaders proved victorious over Greenview in both the 7th and 8th grade contest.

The 7th graders won by a score of 34-8. Leading the Crusaders in scoring was Andrew Graue with 19 points and Trent Koehler with 9. Rounding out the scoring was Kannon Browne with 4 and Everett Maaks with 2. The 7th graders finished the tournament with a 2-1 record finishing second place behind the undefeated WLB Wolverines.

The 8th graders won 58-35 behind 30 points from Dylan Singleton and 20 from Graue. Rounding out the scoring was Jared Helton with 6 points and Nathan Fulscher with 2. The 8th grade team finished the week 3-0 taking home first place in the tournament.
