CEL Panthers sweep home opener

[November 08, 2016]    The Chester-East Lincoln boys basketball team hosted Illini Central for it home opener on Tuesday night and came away with 2 wins.

The 7th grade team won 38-24 to improve their record to 4-0. Alex Ward lead the Panthers in scoring with 15 points, Jaden Klopp had 10 points, Tyler Sasse finished with 5 points, Evan Maynard had 4 points and 2 points each for Brady Crane and Griffin Turner.

The 8th grade team evened their record at 2-2 with a 44-36 win. Alex Ward had 15 points, Jaden Klopp 10 points, Brady Crane finished with 7, Tyler Sasse 4 points, 3 points for Sean Raffa and Griffin Turner finished with two.
