Crusaders sweep Hartsburg-Emden Stags

[November 10, 2016]    Zion Lutheran School played host to Thursday night's contest between Hartsburg-Emden and CCS/NHM/ZLS.

 

The Crusaders won the 7th grade game by a score of 44-19. The Crusaders were led in scoring by Andrew Graue with 21 points and Trent Koehler with 12. The rest of the Crusader scoring saw Paul Schwantz and Everett Maaks score 4 a piece and Drew McCray score 3 points.

The Stags were led in scoring by Martin with 8 and Hopkins with 7. The 7th grade Crusaders are now 4-1 on the season.

The 8th grade contest was also won by the Crusaders by a score of 52-28. Leading the scoring column for the Crusaders was Dylan Singleton with 24 points. Andrew Graue and Jared Helton chipped in with 10 points a piece, and Trent Koehler and Nathan Fulscher each scored 4 points.

Hartsburg-Emden was led by Rohlfs with 13 and Miller with 8. The 8th grade Crusaders are now 5-0 this season.

The next game for the Crusaders will be against Springfield Little Flower on Monday, November 14th, with the 7th-graders getting things started at 6 p.m., followed immediately by the 8th grade contest.
