			away at 9:02 p.m. Monday October 31, 2016 at his residence. |

							Obituary 
							 
							Walter Lynn “Porkchop” Pourchot, 67, of Lake Fork, 
							passed away at 9:02 p.m. Monday October 31, 2016 at 
							his residence.
 Walter was born on November 30, 1948 in Salem, to 
							Walter T. and Doris E. (Miller) Pourchot. He married 
							Teresa Sanders on December 12, 1969 in Flora.
 
 Surviving is his wife Teresa of Lake Fork, two sons, 
							Richard (Tammy) Pourchot of Emden, and Curtis 
							Pourchot of Lincoln, one sister Pam (Alan) Matthies 
							of Big Springs, TX, three grandchildren, Gary 
							(Bethany) Rademaker of Lincoln, Trevor (Jordan) 
							Jones of Clinton and Jacob Pourchot of Clinton, and 
							two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 
							his parents, and his brother Robert.

							Walter was a self employed contractor. He served in 
							the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 
							1968-1971. He was a member of the Scroggin-Gee VFW 
							Post #777 and the Elkhart American Legion.
 Services for Walter will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday 
							November 5, 2016 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral 
							Home in Mount Pulaski with Steve Naglak officiating. 
							Visitation will be Friday evening from 4:00-7:00 
							p.m. also at the funeral home. Burial will be at a 
							later date where full military honors will be 
							accorded. Memorial may be made to the Land of 
							Lincoln Honor Flight.
