[November 16, 2016]   LINCOLN - The Lincoln Art Institute in downtown Lincoln and Logan County Arts hosted the gallery opening of their latest show Thursday evening entitled “Logan County Arts Show & Shop.”

The gallery is filled with reasonably priced art that would make great gifts for the coming holiday season. The selection is outstanding. Secret Santas can chose from wood bowls and cutting boards as well as wooden jewelry boxes made by the students of Lincoln High wood shop teacher Jason Hoffman. All of the proceeds go to the wood shop program at the high school.

The gallery also has one-of-a-kind holiday cards made by the artists. If you want to send cards that will be unique, this is the place to shop. There are also beautifully framed photographs and paintings that will make exclusive gifts.

The Lincoln Art Institute, located across from the Logan County Courthouse on McLean Street, will be open every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. until December 12, and is participating in the Chamber of Commerce $500 drawing. For those stopping in the gallery to consider art for a gift, the passport from the Chamber will be stamped.
