[November 18, 2016]  LINCOLN - Lincoln Heritage Museum now has the capabilities to share Abraham Lincoln’s life by touching museum goers across the world through virtual tour technology donated by Brady Realtors in Lincoln.

Brady Realtors’ new technology, Matterport, allows visitors to Lincoln Heritage Museum’s website to virtually walk through the first floor of the museum from their computer.

Matterport technology is a new form of immersive 3D media that invites visitor to explore a place as if they were really there.

Kyle Graven, an expert of Matterport technology with Brady Realtors said, "Matterport uses a unique camera to capture a space in 3D. This 3D is unlike what you have ever seen before. Imagine being in a room or space as if you are actually in it."

This technology is now being used by Brenda Short and Brady Realtors to help showcase their listed homes for sale via the internet and give people a chance to walk through a potential new home while sitting at their current home explained Graven.

Short felt the Matterport technology was a great way to give back to the local community by providing the use of its technology to showcase the Museum.
