In the 7th grade contest, the Crusaders of Carroll
Catholic/New Holland-Middletown.Zion Lutheran schools proved
victorious by a score of 45-21. The Crusaders were led in
scoring by Trent Koehler with 13 points and Andrew Graue and
Everett Maaks with 12 a piece. Rounding out the scoring was Drew
McCray with 5, Paul Schwantz with 2 and Darren Stevens with 1
point.
The 7th grade Crusaders improve to 6-1 on the season.
The 8th grade contest saw the Crusaders again pull out a victory
by a score of 47-31. Leading the Crusaders was Dylan Singleton
with 24 points, followed by Andrew Graue with 11, Trent Koehler
with 9 and Jared Helton with 3. The 8th graders are now 7-0 this
year.
The next game will be Monday at New Holland-Middletown, against
the Cougars of Illini Central, with the 7th graders beginning at
6 p.m. and the 8th grade contest to follow.
