On Tuesday morning, the
Lincoln/Logan County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting
ceremony at Sir Renna Bubble Tea & Gifts.
The new business offers Bubble Tea as well as many wonderful retail
items including home decor, jewelry, scarves, soaps and lotions, soy
based candles and other home scents.
Eileen Mullins, owner of the business located on North Kickapoo
Street in downtown Lincoln, opened the store several weeks ago. She
had asked to wait though for her ribbon cutting, as she wanted to do
the ceremony in honor of her father, whose birthday was this
Tuesday.
At the cut, Chamber Director Kathy Wilhite welcomed Eileen's new
business to the Lincoln community, and thanked her for investing in
Lincoln.
Lincoln Mayor Marty Neitzel was also on hand, and spoke briefly,
also welcoming Sir Renna to town, and wishing them well.
Mullins said she was really happy to be in Lincoln, and marveled at
the reception she has received from the community.
After the ribbon cut, those in attendance went inside the store for
a time to chat with each other and Eileen, visit the store's retail
section, and enjoy some free samples of the signature product,
Bubble Tea.
