Logan County EMA to host Disaster Awareness Drills in Lincoln October 5th

[October 04, 2016]  LINCOLN - In an ongoing effort to help our community be prepared for a disaster, Logan County EMA and the Logan County Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program Design Team will be conducting a disaster exercise on Wednesday, October 5th from 8:00am to 3:00pm.

Portions of the exercise will be taking place near the Logan County Fairgrounds, the Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, and the Lincoln Developmental Center.

The exercise will depict the response to a large tornado impacting Lincoln.

You should be aware that:

1. You may notice an unusual number of emergency vehicles and agencies from other counties.

2. Unusual radio traffic and activity.

3. There will be NO fire, smoke, or simulated gunshots.
