[October 06, 2016]  RB Jeremy Langford (ankle) did not practice Wednesday and is week-to-week.

WR Kevin White was placed on injured reserve Wednesday with a fractured left fibula and high ankle sprain in another setback for the second-year player. General manager Ryan Pace confirmed the injuries that White sustained late in the third quarter of Sunday's 17-14 victory against the Detroit Lions. Following a 5-yard catch, White limped back to the sideline and eventually went to the locker room. He was in considerable pain in the postgame locker room after making six catches for 55 yards in the game. White underwent a preliminary MRI on Monday.

LB Willie Young (knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice with an injury that has been bothering him for two weeks.

WR Eddie Royal (calf) did not practice Wednesday due to an injury he sustained Sunday.

RB Ka'Deem Carey (hamstring) returned to practice Wednesday for the first time since sustaining his injury against Philadelphia on Sept. 19. Carey practiced on a limited basis.

DE Jonathan Bullard (shoulder) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He came out of Sunday's win with the injury and did not return.

LB Leonard Floyd (calf) did not practice Wednesday due to an injury sustained Sunday. Floyd came out of the game and did not return, although coach John Fox said afterward that Floyd was healthy enough that he could have played if needed.

NT Eddie Goldman (ankle) is week-to-week due to an injury sustained Sept. 19. He has not practiced since getting hurt.

G Josh Sitton (shoulder) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He has been nursing a shoulder problem since the opening game.

QB Jay Cutler (thumb) remains sidelined with the injury he sustained Sept. 19 against Philadelphia. He has gone through only one practice -- that on a limited basis -- since then, and he missed Wednesday's practice. Coach John Fox characterized him Monday as week-to-week. "He did not participate, he's still doing rehab, so you know he's working through that injury," Fox said.

CB Tracy Porter (knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice with an injury that has been a concern since the season opener.

TE Zach Miller (ribs) did not practice Wednesday due to an injury he sustained Sunday.

CB Sherrick McManis (hamstring) was limited in practice with an injury that has been a problem for three weeks. He is day-to-day but did play with the injury in Sunday's win.

LB Danny Trevathan (thumb) returned to practice on a limited basis for the first time since his Sept. 19 injury. He is day-to-day.

WR Alshon Jeffery (knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice with an injury that had him missing practice last week, although he did play against Detroit.

NT Will Sutton, although undersized to be playing the nose in a two-gap scheme at 6-foot, 297 pounds, is persistent if anything. Most had him written off last year when the new coaching regime brought in a 3-4 system. He survived both times and now is starting because of Eddie Goldman's ankle injury. Sutton struggled when he came on against Philadelphia after Goldman's injury, and then two weeks ago on numerous occasions he was pushed out of the way by Dallas' big, efficient offensive line. However, last week he rebounded in a huge way and proved critical in a goal-line stand that forced a field goal instead of allowing the touchdown at a turning point in the win over Detroit. Indianapolis hasn't been a good running team, and its problems on the offensive line should give Sutton an opportunity to continue making progress.

LB Nick Kwiatkoski (shoulder) was limited in Wednesday's practice due to an injury sustained in the Sunday game.
