Lincoln loses a close one to Champaign Central on the volleyball court

[October 07, 2016]    The Lincoln Railers traveled to Champaign Central Thursday night and lost a close one in three sets.

 

Lincoln won the first set 25-22 before dropping the last two sets 19-25 and 24-26.

Lincoln volleyball head coach Kyle Caldwell said following the loss to Champaign Central, "It was the best we've played in a long time against a very tough team, so we still feel good about how we competed.”

Brooklynn Elsas led the Railers with 11 kills, Emma O’Donoghue had 20 assists, Grace Bossingham had 2 blocks, Kaelyn Froebe had 2 aces and Mackenzie Antoine had 18 digs.

Lincoln’s overall record is 14-13 (5-2 CS8).
