[October 15, 2016]   LINCOLN - It’s that time of year again, winter is coming and so is Christmas in the Chapel! Each year, the Lincoln Christian University (LCU) chorale presents the Christmas story to guests from all over central Illinois as they showcase their talents in music and drama.

Performances run from Thursday December 1 to Sunday December 4, 2016 at LCU’s Earl C Hargrove Chapel, in Lincoln, Ill.

This year’s theme is entitled “A Good Old-Fashioned Christ-MESS.” You’ll be transported back in time to 1966, where Betty Sue Baker is hoping a Christmas Eve wedding will breathe new life into her family’s inn, and bring old friends and family back to the farm for a good old-fashioned Christmas experience. However, when her prodigal sister and a mysterious encyclopedia salesman show up, Betty Sue’s plans quickly dissolve into a good old-fashioned Christ-MESS!

The show features well-known and well-loved songs performed by the LCU Chorale, and an original script written by Jeff Colleen, LCU professor of Worship Ministry and Adam Johnson, LCU alumnus and Connections Pastor at The Ridge (Columbus, IN).

Tickets will be available to purchase starting October 11. To request tickets, download the order form at https://www.lincolnchristian.edu/christmas and return with your payment to Christmas in the Chapel, Lincoln Christian University, 100 Campus View Dr., Lincoln, IL 62656. Seats are reserved.
